Challenge
Following a successful brand strategy project with Wildeck, a warehouse mezzanine and lift manufacturer, the marketing team partnered with my agency to improve their site’s technical foundation and on-page SEO.

Solution
To fully understand the state of Wildeck’s website, I completed a site audit using Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console. I then created a strategy and collaborated with the client and our developers to implement fixes.
What I did:
- SEO audit, using Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
- Keyword research to understand where we could optimize content for improvements in SERPs
- Created a strategy for improving the site health score and optimizing content
- Implemented changes on WordPress, including swapping links, writing alternative text, updating metadata, editing content with writing-for-the-web best practices and more
Results
After five months, Wildeck’s technical site health and rankings were improved. Showing the success of these efforts gave us an opportunity to talk about continued keyword optimization and additional SEO work.
45% increase
in site health score, according to Ahrefs.
96 health score
which is considered “excellent.”
Up 8 positions
to position #1 in SERP for target keyword “mezzanine.”
