Our client, Wahl Home Products, wanted to become the “most searched brand” in the industry. My team and I had been maintaining technical SEO and simple on-page updates for years, but this new charge meant balancing content updates and creation with other high-priority campaigns.

Solution
Collaborating with the creative team, we developed a content improvement plan that specifically targeted top keywords to drive organic traffic to the site.
What I did:
- Content inventory and audit of how-to and expert advice articles
- Keyword research using Ahrefs, Google Trends and Search Console to identify articles to improve, create and delete
- Prioritized recommendations of which articles the creative team should work on each month
- Wrote metadata and reviewed each article for SEO best practices
Results
After nearly a year, organic traffic to the website has greatly improved, and Wahl is well on its way to becoming the “most searched brand.”
